What happens when you stop worrying about finding the “right” read and give yourself permission to play?
Pop-Up VO is a fun, fast-moving live call where voice actors experiment, explore, and build confidence in their skill without judgment — or recordings.
Using commercial scripts and randomized games, players are gently nudged out of their comfort zone to discover new possibilities in their performances — leaving behind the pressure to be perfect and the fear of getting it wrong.
Imperfection is a key ingredient. You learn to trust your instincts, make a choice, and see where it takes you.
Whether you’re new to voiceover or a seasoned professional, Pop-Up VO gives you space to stretch your skills, and rediscover the joy of performing.

The 4 W’s of Pop Up VO
When
Calls are currently scheduled twice a month, for 90 minutes per call. Specific dates for calls are listed on the booking page above. We schedule 1 month ahead until calls are full.
SPACE IS LIMITED!
Calls are NEVER recorded!
Who
Pro calls feature a random assortment of 5-6 working VO talents in the call.
The “Pro” call is designed for intermediate to advanced talent.
“Newbie Night” reservations are for talent in their first three to four years of VO. (Open to up to 10 participants.)
Why
Because we all need to have some fun doing this thing we do. We need to remember that failing is a good thing, and that’s where the magic often happens. We need to challenge our own “safe choices” and get out of our comfort zones more. Which lets us grow and refine our talent in the process.
